Lauren Woodland

Lauren Woodland (born October 28, 1977 in Carson City, Nevada) is an Emmy Award-nominated American actress.

She first came into fame as both Sara Cummings on the soap opera Sunset Beach briefly in April 1998 and later as Janelle on Port Charles in February 1999.

Woodland's most well known role was Brittany Hodges Marsino on The Young and the Restless from March 2000 until her final appearance in November 2005. Her other well known role was in the Fox Network cult science fiction series Alien Nation as the child newcomer Emily Francisco; Lauren reprised her role in the 5 "Alien Nation" tv movies.

She was nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award for her role on Y&R as "Outstanding Younger Actress" in 2004.

She recently appeared on an episode of Cold Case entitled "Stand Up and Holler" which premiered April 1, 2007.

She graduated Magna Cum Laude from USC with a degree in history and a minor in religion.
