Lauren Savoy

Lauren Waaktaar-Savoy, born April 17, 1963 in Boston, USA, is an American vocalist and guitarist and composer. She has since 1995 played with her husband Paul Waaktaar-Savoy and drummer Frode Unneland in the group Savoy.

Lauren Waaktaar-Savoy met her husband when he played with a-ha in the 80's, and after being a couple for 10 years they got married in 1991. In 1999 they had a son together, named after the month he was born in, August.

Apart from contributing with music and lyrics for the band Savoy, she is also a music video director and has directed video's for many bands as well as various commercials. She has directed numerous videos for a-ha as well.
