Lauren Passarelli

Lauren Passarelli "L. Pass." (born on February 1, 1960 in Teaneck, New Jersey) was the first woman to graduate from Berklee College of Music as a guitar performance major in 1982; and in 1984, only two years after graduating, became the first woman appointed to Berklee's guitar department faulty.

Today, Lauren is a professor of guitar at Berklee, the co founder of Feather Records and the lead guitarist/vocalist for the pop/rock group, Two Tru. She co-produces with arranger, producer, composer, Cindy Brown merging the two's vast background of bands, writers, engineers & producers that have influenced the sound of their collaborative efforts known as the band Two Tru.

Lauren was George Harrison for the Beatles Tribute Band, All Together Now (formerly known as Get Back) performing on thirteen tours between 1995-2007.

L Pass has many professional endorsments including Soundwave Research, ADK, Rane, Bose, Guild, Fender, Hofner...and A lover of Gretsch guitars because of George Harrison. [1]

Lauren attended Berklee concurrently with Melissa Etheridge. The two were classmates and friends.

Lauren coined the phrase "Control the Wavicles" in October 2007 while teaching a guitar lesson, relating music to quantum physics.
