Lauren Chandler Lanning (born 1983) is a beauty queen from Houston, Texas who has competed in the Miss USA pageant. She placed in the Top 10 at the Miss USA Pageant which aired live on NBC April 21, 2006.

Lanning won the Miss Texas USA 2006 pageant held in July 2005. She had previously competed in four Miss Texas USA pageants, and was 3rd runner-up in 2004 as Miss Fort Bend County USA and 2nd runner-up in 2005 as Miss Bay Area USA. She had also competed in the Miss Texas Teen USA pageant in 2002. Her sister Taylor Lanning competed in the Miss Texas Teen USA pageants in 2005, 2006 and 2007, and the two held the Miss and Teen local titles in the same year. Lauren and Taylor made history by becoming the first sisters to win the titles of Miss Houston USA 2005/Miss Houston Teen USA 2005 in its 25 year history!

Lanning graduated from Pearland High School in 2001. After leaving high school she attended San Jacinto College and then the University of Houston-Clearlake. She eventually graduated with a degree in communications. Lauren is currently the new addition to Houston's Channel 55 "The Tube" Television station. She is the new Co-Host and reporter of "Wild About Houston".

Lanning has a strong community involvement background, and has volunteered for Coins for the Cure, Shriners Hospital for Children, Susan G. Komen for the Cure, and the Children's Assessment Center. Lauren, along with her sister Taylor, have implemented their own non-profit organization, "Coins For The Cure".

Lauren is now married and gave birth to her first child, a boy, on August 21, 2007.

Her other hobbies and interests include singing, acting, and cooking. In 2007, she started "Lasting Impression" as a way to mentor and coach young women in the world of pageantry.
