Laurel Mountain Elementary School is a K-5 school in Austin, Texas administered by the Round Rock Independent School District.
In May 2003, HR 999 of the 78th Texas State Legislature, proposed by representative Stick, commended the school and its principal, Jan Richards, for being awarded exemplary status by the Texas Education Agency for its achievements during the 2001-2002 school year.
It follows on to Canyon Vista Middle School and then to Westwood High School.
