Laurel Highlands School District

Laurel Highlands School District is a school district located in Fayette County, Pennsylvania. It serves North and South Union Townships. The current superintendent is Dr. Ronald Sheba, whose retirement is effective July 1, 2008. Director of Secondary Education Dr. Gary Brain will become the district's new superintendent.

John F. Kennedy Elementary School was part of the school district until it was closed after the 2003-2004 School year. John F. Kennedy School was later turned into a mental health treatment facility, called New Directions, for school age children.

The Laurel Highlands Senior High School is located at 300 Bailey Avenue. The current principals are Mr. Diamon, Mr. Miller, and Mrs. Dicenzo.
