Laura Elizabeth Bissell (born 19 June 1983 Hitchin Hospital, lives in Stevenage, Hertfordshire) is an accomplished English road and track racing cyclist.[1] Bissell has represented her country at international events on several occasions,[2] she was a member of the a British Cycling Development Plan squad alongside Nicole Cooke, competing at the 2000 & 2001 Junior Road World Championships and the 2001 Junior Track Cycling World Championships in Trexlertown, US.[3] Bissell was involved in an accident in December 2004 when a car out in front of her on a roundabout, luckily she suffered only minor injuries.[4]
Laura's brother, Peter Bissell was also a successful cyclist.
