The Launceston Synagogue, built in 1844, located in Launceston, Tasmania is one of only three surviving examples of an Egyptian Revival synagogue. The other two are the Old Synagogue at Canterbury (England) and the Hobart Synagogue. The style enjoyed a brief period of pupularity in the 1840s.
The building is the care of the National Trust of Australia.
