Laufer Film is a film production company headed by Tiffany Laufer and her father William C. Laufer. The company is based in Cleveland, Ohio and Los Angeles, California
The company has produced a range of productions from music videos and political spots to corporate commercials and short films. Young Audiences of Greater Cleveland, The Phoenix Public School System and the Great Lakes Theater Festival are among their clients.
Their feature film Christmas at Maxwell's featuring Andrew May, Jack Hourigan (of The Food Network) and Helen Welch received a nationwide theatrical release December 2006. TV Guide said of the feature "it's a rare example of truly independent filmmaking." The MPAA PG rated film received Dove Foundation Seal of approval for family friendly films.
Laufer Film has just finished a new cooking show entitled "Journey To Your Plate" - a new adventure travel cooking show highlighting organic agriculture and it's journey to our plates from field to kitchen. The first episode follows the charismatic Jacqueline 'Jack' Hourigan through the lemon orchards of Santa Barbara.
Both father and daughter of Laufer Film attended Georgetown University. Tiffany received her MFA/Cinematography from American Film Institute and William received an MBA from Case Western Reserve University.
