I'm not sure what kind of citation is needed for the remark about the blackboard. I seriously doubt you'll find an article anywhere citing that some bathrooms have blackboards.

I live in Sequim, WA, and in Port Townsend (a nearby town) has a black board in the bathroom of the Water Street Brewing Company (a bar). Go check it out if you need proof.
