The article mentions that she is "by far the most famous and well-known Latin American artist." That's quite a statement, especially given how famous and well-known Diego Rivera is. It may be true, but there should be a citation there to back up the claim.Chiwara 19:47, 24 May 2007 (UTC)

I agree (though I suspect the claim is almost certainly true). So I toned it down. NB however that that particular bit of text is floating around on a bunch of Wikipedia articles. The thing would be to go through them all and change it. --Jbmurray 20:08, 24 May 2007 (UTC)
