Talk:Lateef Crowder

Be careful in refering to a capoeirista as a "master". The title of Mestre is very sacred to us.
[edit] American?
If he was born in Bahia, wouldn't that make him a Brazilian?
He could have become an American citizen after his birth or born in an Americian area where his citizenship would make him American.

[edit] Was he in the movie The Serpent and The Rainbow?
I'm watching the movie The Serpent and The Rainbow. There's a part at the beginning of the movie where there was a several Haitian dancers were in a trance-like state. One of the dancers had been possessed of sorts and strted attacking people. That dancer looked like Lateef Crowder. SInce this was an old movie, it was because his hair was grown long into dredlocks. I've tried looking for info confirm my suspecion. He could have easily been an uncredited role. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Rayghost (talk • contribs) 20:49, 1 May 2008 (UTC)
