Latvenergo is a state-owned energy company in Latvia. The company generates about 70% of all electricity in Latvia.
Latvenergo has three hydroelectric power plants - Pļaviņu HES, Ķeguma HES-1 and Ķeguma HES-2 with a total installed capacity of 1463 MWe, two combined heat power plants with electricity installed capacity of 474 MWe and heat capacity of 1525 MWt and two wind mill parks with installed capacity of 2 MWe.
The company also co-ownes Liepājas enerģija which has electricity installed capacity of 12 MWe and heat capacity of 427 MWt; and Augstsprieguma tīkls a power distribution company with 5.236 km of power lines.
