The 8th Annual Latin Grammy Awards were held on November 8, 2007 in Las Vegas, NV. The venue was the Mandalay Bay Events Center's Arena at Mandalay Bay. The show aired on Univision. The Person of the Year (Persona Del Año) was Juan Luis Guerra. Juan Luis Guerra was the nights big winner winning all 5 awards nominated for including Album of the Year. He tied the record for most Latin GRAMMYs won in a single night. He now shares this record with Juanes, who won 5 awards in 2003.
