The Latin Grammy Award for Best Ranchero Album is given every year since the 2nd Latin Grammy Awards ceremony, which took place at a non-televised press conference on October 30, 2001 at the Conga Room Club in Los Angeles, California.
On the Latin Grammy Awards of 2000 the category for this field was named: Best Ranchero Performance, which was awarded to Alejandro Fernández with Mi Verdad.
Vicente Fernández is the biggest winner in this category with three wins, in 2002, 2003 and 2004.
