Latiaxis is a genus of medium-sized sea snails, marine gastropod mollusks in the family Magilidae, the rock snails.
The shells have a prominent peripheral keel, and in general, with a strong development of long curved hollow spines. The spire is flat to concave in the type species, but varies to moderately tall in others.
