Lathlain Train Station is a former Transperth train station 6.5km from Perth Train Station, on the Armadale Line, in Western Australia.

[edit] History

Lathlain Train Station was located at the intersection of Goddard Street in Lathlain and Gresham Street in Victoria Park, and was built in 1959 in part to service demand for the newly-built Lathlain Park, to which the Perth Football Club had moved.

It was closed from 3 February 2003, for the new Victoria Park Train Station, and the station was demolished. Following the decomissioning of the train station the "Lathlain" lighted signs were donated to the Perth Football Club. The current photograph to the right shows the site of the demolished station.
