Laterina is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Arezzo in the Italian region Tuscany, located about 50 km southeast of Florence and about 14 km northwest of Arezzo. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 3,510 and an area of 24.0 km².[1]

The municipality of Laterina contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Ponticino, Casanuova, and Vitereta.

Laterina borders the following municipalities: Arezzo, Castiglion Fibocchi, Civitella in Val di Chiana, Pergine Valdarno, Terranuova Bracciolini.
