[edit] Warnings
Do NOT remove warnings from your user page, it is considered additional vandalism. Ben W Bell talk 09:32, 7 September 2006 (UTC)
This is a warning, stop removing warnings from your user talk page, it is considered supportive of your previous vandalism. If you continue to do so you will be blocked from editing on Wikipedia. Warnings need to remain on your talk page to show other users that you have been involved in vandalism previously. Ben W Bell talk 12:26, 7 September 2006 (UTC)
- Actually, you can remove the warnings although archiving is preferred. The guideline states "Policy does not prohibit users from removing comments from their own talk pages, although archiving is preferred. The removal of a warning is taken as evidence that the warning has been read by the user. Deleted warnings can still be found in the page history." WP:UP#Removal of warnings. [edit] Adoption
Hello Lassie, I'd be happy to adopt you. What do you know already, and what would you like to know? Love, Neranei (talk) 21:05, 18 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Adoption
Hey! I'll "adopt" you. To find out about me, go to my Userpage. I like your page; It's really cool. I'll help you with editing Wikipedia, and soon you'll become a "Wiki-Pro". (Hey! U can even adopt sum1 ur-self!) Please respond on my Talkpage (AsSoonAsPossible) and tell me if you except or decline my offer to "adopt" you. (OH! If you aren't a Christian, don't worry. [If you are: COOL!] If u don't want me talking about it, I won't. I respect all people [no matter race, nationality, religion, gender, or education]. Same goes for my views on Evolution. Just tell me your views.) I've got a warning (it's oK): I like to make jokes (but I don't get offended if others do the same).
AAU | Kinkijui KNK would like to adopt you!. |
[edit] Adoption request
Looks like you've asked a few people and gotten some responses :) If you'd still like help sweetening up your user page, just let me know, I'd be happy to help. Shell babelfish 02:32, 4 November 2007 (UTC)
- If you're still looking for someone to adopt you, I'd be happy to. So that's a yes ;) Shell babelfish 05:52, 4 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Hello
I came here in response to your request for adoption, and noticed that you have been adopted by an experienced Wikipedian, so everything is fine now. I did have a look at your edits in the light of the remarks left on your page by Ben W Bell. That user was out of order in his response to you. The messages were very strong and inappropriate. JodyB has left a message for Ben W Bell, and I shall as well. I see no signs of malicious vandalism - I see a new user who has made a couple of small errors, which we all do at times, even the most experienced of us. Ben W Bell has made a mistake, and the mistake he has made is bigger than yours! Please do not be put off contributing to Wikipedia because of his rude behaviour. You have done the right thing in asking to be adopted, and that shows a mature and responsible approach. SilkTork *SilkyTalk 13:19, 4 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Refactoring talk page comments
Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, talk pages are meant to be a record of a discussion; deleting or editing legitimate comments, as you did at User talk:Happy-melon, is considered bad practice, even if you meant well. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Happy-melon (talk • contribs) 10:50, November 4, 2007
Please do not delete or edit legitimate talk page comments, as you did at User talk:Jazzy910. Such edits are disruptive and appear to be vandalism. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. --Geniac 14:17, 6 November 2007 (UTC)
