Autoblock of 209.244.189.88 lifted or expired.

Please wait, contacting the blocking admin. --Yamla (talk) 21:31, 20 February 2008 (UTC)
The autoblock has been lifted. There are some serious concerns of sockpuppetry with that other account but you have a history of productive contributions and so we take you at your word that you are unrelated to that one. --Yamla (talk) 23:15, 20 February 2008 (UTC)

Could you do me the courtesy of telling me what is going on? One minute, I'm blocked. The next minute the block is lifted. I do a few edits and the next thing I know I'm blocked again. Please give me some idea of what is going on. I have contributed meaningfully and without incident to this site and suddenly I'm a pawn in some sort of game being played by the administration and another user. Please give me some idea of what is going on. Is this standard operating procedure? Thank you for your time. LaSylphide (talk) 06:54, 21 February 2008 (UTC)

I clicked on the 209. in the box above. That is not me. LaSylphide (talk) 07:00, 21 February 2008 (UTC)

Hello? Is anybody there? Can you give me information about what is going on? Have I done something wrong? Why am I being punished? Please lift the block on my account. How can I continue editing Andersen's fairy tales with a block on my account? What have I done wrong? I don't understand? Could you tell me? Hello? Is anybody there? I've repasted the template below. Maybe the first one isn't working. Hello? Thank you.LaSylphide (talk) 08:21, 21 February 2008 (UTC)

You have not been autoblocked. However, you have been blocked directly as stated in your block log. Since you have not provided a reason for being unblocked, your request has been declined. You may provide a reason for being unblocked by adding {{unblock|your_reason_here}} to your talk page. -- Yamla (talk) 15:09, 21 February 2008 (UTC)

Hello? Could you please explain why I am blocked? I've been editing Andersen's fairy tales for several days and now I can't for some reason. I uploaded a lot of beautiful pictures from the first illustratiosn and created an article about the illustrator Vilhelm Pedersen. Did I do something wrong? Maybe I've been "formatting" them wrong. Maybe I spelled something wrong. I know the rules are very strict here. My hands are arthritic and sometimes I hit the wrong keys addirentally. Could you explain why I am blocked? I'd like to continue and I'd like explain the situation to my grandchildren. They enjoy reading my little write-ups about Andersen's fairy tales. My grand daughter is taking a fairy tale course in college. Thank you, LaSylphide (talk) 08:46, 21 February 2008 (UTC)

PLEASE OPEN MY WIFE'S ACCOUNT SO SHE CAN CONTINUE WRITING ABOUT ANDERSEN'S FAIRY TALES. OUR GRANDKIDS LIKE READING THE ARTICLES. THEY CALL THEIR GRANDMOTHER A "PUBLISHED AUTHOR". HEHEH. THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK! LaSylphide (talk) 08:46, 21 February 2008 (UTC)

  • I am afraid I have blocked your account as well (for now, just for a month - I am being lenient) for disruption using a sockpuppet account Overjoyed (talk · contribs). I am looking forward to some believable explanation of the situation. Sincerely, Mike Rosoft (talk) 09:17, 21 February 2008 (UTC)

Overjoyed is not me. Maybe it's someone else in my building. This computer is in a community room at a senior citizens apartment building. A lot of people use it and I know some of them write for Wikipedia because they talk about it. What you're practicing here is discrimination against the elderly and any senior person who wants to edit at Wikipedia is going to be banned. LaSylphide (talk) 13:21, 21 February 2008 (UTC) PLEASE OPEN MY WIFE'S ACCOUNT. SHE IS VERY UPSET AND SO IS MY GRANDDAUGHTER. MY WIFE HAS DONE NOTHING WRONG. ALL SHE DOES IS WRITE ABOUT ANDERSEN'S FAIRY TALES. YOU'VE CAUSED A LOT OF GRIEF. LaSylphide (talk) 13:21, 21 February 2008 (UTC)

Please stop abusing the unblock template. You may place one unblock request to request that another administrator review your block. Note that another admin blocked you directly because he does not believe you are unrelated to Overjoyed (talk · contribs). Whether or not this is true, I am seriously concerned by the statement above, "PLEASE OPEN MY WIFE'S ACCOUNT. SHE IS VERY UPSET AND SO IS MY GRANDDAUGHTER. MY WIFE HAS DONE NOTHING WRONG." This tends to indicate that this account, at the very least, is shared. This is also absolutely not permitted. --Yamla (talk) 15:09, 21 February 2008 (UTC)
By the way, you may have better luck sending an email to unblock-en-l@lists.wikimedia.org from an email address issued by your ISP. You should list your account name and state for the record if you know the person behind the Overjoyed account and, if so, how they are related to you. You'll also want to state how many people have used this account and, if only one person has ever used it, why the statement above. --Yamla (talk) 15:15, 21 February 2008 (UTC)
I am a senior and I don't understand all of this. I find it very upsetting and I don't want to pursue it because I think it will only cause me unrest. It isn't worth it. I have heart trouble and I don't want to get upset. I got mixed up with the wrong people when I came here. What are you saying about me abusing something? I have never abused anything in my life. It's obvious that Wikipedia discriminates against seniors. And yes, my husband was looking over my shoulder when I previously wrote and added a note. So since when is letting your husband add a note to your letter a crime? I'm lucky to still have him by my side after all these years. What am I to do -- tell him he can't look over my shoulder when I write about fairy tales? This just isn't worth it for me. I'm very upset. My grand daughter is miles away in college and we were having a lot of fun but now it's all over. Writing about the Andersen fairy tales gave me something to look forward to and something to share with my grand daughter. I used to read her the fairy tales years ago when she was little. Goodbye. Thank you for letting me have fun for a while. LaSylphide (talk) 15:42, 21 February 2008 (UTC)
It is not the case that your husband only looked over your shoulder. See this edit. You are not permitted to share accounts. Why you think we discriminate against seniors when we couldn't possibly have known you were a senior until you stated it is beyond me. I'm not sure why you bring your granddaughter into this, either. Who is your granddaughter? Is that the person behind Overjoyed (talk · contribs)? --Yamla (talk) 16:09, 21 February 2008 (UTC)
This is really disturbing for me. Nothing like this has ever happened to me. I've decided the best thing for me is to do my Andersen researches, write them up in emails with images, then send the emails to my grand daughter. She can still enjoy the fun and put the article up at Wikipedia if she has the time. I just ordered 4 new books about Hans Christian Andersen to use for sources. One is dated 2008 written by professor at Harvard. It has a kinds of annotations in the margins. I was so looking forward to using it. Thank you for your interest and trying to help here but I'm not used to this sort of thing and it frightens ms. I'm afraid it will happen again. Just now I'm starting to have pain in the center of my chest. Please close my account. Thank you for wanting to help. LaSylphide (talk) 17:42, 21 February 2008 (UTC)
