"Radio Caroline had already limped back on to the airwaves from its new ship"

How exactly does returning to the air in a blaze of publicity with a big new ship and 50 kilowatts of power constitute "limping"???!!! Lee M 18:52, 4 November 2005 (UTC)
Owing to back stabbing? One of the broadcast staff left between laying anchor and switching on Caroline's main TX, which was rated at 60 kW. ISTR the last TX installed on MiAmigo was rated at 60 kW and installed in 1978, which says it all about Radio Caroline.
Aart from the fact that the exact meaning of these unsigned entries is blurry, the Ross Revenge was equipped with a 50 kW RCA tx (not 60), wit a 5 kW backup IIRC. The Mi Amigo had a 50 kW Continental Electronics tx and two 10 kW backups, but they dated from the early to mid 60s and by the 70s were not operable at full power. And all of this says WHAT about Caroline exactly? The article's text as at current date is equally confusing. Lee M 02:49, 16 June 2007 (UTC)
Further to my previous entry, I believe the article is too pov and I've therefore added a cleanup box. Lee M 19:22, 4 November 2005 (UTC)
Maybe these are created in the hope of provoking better information?? RNI's still does not mention the bombing.
