Talk:LaSalle Quartet

[edit] New additions
I just briefly retooled a few things in the article, additions of Wikipedia links and some simple facts. But more to come. They did Schönberg and Zemlinsky like no other. I agree that notability isn't just the publication of an album, though they did do a bunch. Many of their recordings are out of print, but all are Deutsche Grammophon.
[edit] Notability
In my opinion notability is not signified by the publication of a CD for a string quartet founded in 1946. On the other hand a nod by a composer (György Ligeti) might be enough in itself.--Atavi 12:59, 4 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Recording
I have actually just spotted a recording by the quartet. Arnold Schoenberg, Verklärte Nacht / String Trio, Deutsche Grammophon, 1984.--Atavi 10:58, 7 February 2007 (UTC)
...and web searching, String Quartets by the second viennese school (schoenberg, berg, webern)--Atavi 11:01, 7 February 2007 (UTC)
