Lassana Traoré

Lassana Traoré is a former Malian politician and diplomat. He was named the foreign minister in June 2002, replacing Modibo Sidibe who had been in that position since 1997. He was selected as foreign minister by President Amadou Toumani Touré. Traoré lasted in his position as foreign minister until being replaced by Moctar Ouane in 2004.
