The Las Vegas PROLYMs are an American Basketball Association (ABA) expansion team located in Las Vegas, Nevada. The team began play as the Las Vegas Venom, but later suspended operations in November 2006. However, they plan to return for 2007. As of April 2007, the team has not released a home court to the public.
The team was also to be known as the 'Las Vegas Lights before a naming-rights deal with PROLYM Enterprises, a company which specializes in athletic aspects, and has been endorsed by such celebrities as Paris Hilton, Diddy, Sharon Stone, José Canseco, Cuttino Mobley, Smush Parker, and Tom Arnold. The team folded for good sometime in the 2007-08 season. Whether the reason was that PROLYM did not pay the team for the sponsorship or for another reason is unknown.
