[edit] History

The Las Vegas Club installed the first neon sign on a casino in 1930, it was only the second such sign in town.[4]

Barrick Gaming Corporation acquired the Las Vegas Club from Jackie Gaughan and in late 2005 sold it to the Tamares Group.

January 19, 2007 saw the opening of a new poker room.[5]

Tamares is considering converting the property into a condo-hotel according to Larry Woolf, the licensed operator.[6]
