the Looks are a mod band from essex.

consisting of: jack nyland on vocals/guitar......Josh Cushing on guitar............Aidan Crawley on bass......and Declan Kennadey on drums

the band were in amongst a new wave of modernism often shortened to mod. mods originally started as a social sub culture in the 6o's, such bands involved in this radical movement were , the kinks, the Beatles and most famously the who. though mods died out by the 70's a mod revival was to come about in the early 80,s. the mod revival was lead by such groups as squire, the purple hearts and the jam. such groups exist today,,indie has its music and stile thanks to the mods........................bands today still class them selfs as mod such as, the on off, ocean colour scene and of corse the looks
