Closeup shot of the HP LaserJet 500 Plus control panel. This is identical to the very first HP LaserJet control panel, other than the symbol "+" on the left side and the choice of upper/lower paper cassettes on the right side.
The number 00 means "no problems detected, ready to print".
Obsolete printer obtained from the SWAP Surplus Store at the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire, and photographed by me with a Canon Powershot A640, cropped with Corel PhotoPAINT 7.
