[edit] county secession movements
The odds are that unless a particular group involved in a secession movement has a website, you are going to find very little on the internet, at least available as a free source. Still, you will have to remember that there are areas of the internet that are not well indexed by the major search engines (especially in databases, or dynamically generated webpages), so you might try some alternative search stategies. For example, you might look to see if any of the county local area formation agencies are online, and then search within their databases, or go to the county websites and look through their records of the meetings for their board of supervisors.
Another possibility is that there are a number of different newspaper archives that are available by subscription, but your local library may have a subscription, so you can search the newspaper archives at your local library.
In the end, you may just have to go to the library and search through their microfilm and microfiche newspaper archives. Good luck. BlankVerse 19:45, 25 November 2005 (UTC)
