My most cherished

These are the editors who have influenced, inspired, and impressed me. From brightening my days to making me a better editor, they have in many ways impacted me in a positive way.

It is an incomplete list that I will update regularly...

the_undertow talk - This editor's encouragement has been my needed push to go back to school. He has inspired me to be myself, regardless of what others think, and to do what I need to do for me. He gave me hope that one doesn't have to bite their tongue and be fake in order to be respected. I am grateful to him for his continued support and defense of my character. For all of these reasons, I cherish him and our friendship more than can be expressed in words. And though he stresses me out like no other, he will forever be utterly adored by me.

Jayron32.talk.contribs - The first editor to truly influence me. Following his example, I began reviewing articles at WP:GAR. I later grew passionate about the Good articles project and I credit him with my initial enthusiasm. His kind and helpful guidance helped mold my review style. And, although I've stepped back from the GA project, his continued encouragement helps keep me going when times get rough here on Wikipedia. In addition, he has proven to be a joy to collaborate and converse with. Plus, he had the funniest EFD evar!

Eliz81(C) - Always willing to lend an ear and a shoulder, this editor has given me invaluable support and advice when I have needed it the most. A benevolent and good-humored friend, she brings light into conversations, lightens the weight of personal burden, and invokes a smile where one is desperately needed. In drawing from her own experiences to help me understand mine, I am left grateful to her.

ArielGold - A thoughtful mind and gentle soul. Ariel lends an ear and heartfelt advice to happily help others, including me. She provides a quiet, warm, drama-free place for friends to chat, mingle, and make new friends; a place I've found myself visiting daily and into the wee-hours. An awe-inspiring demeanor rivaling that of Phaedriel, she is truly an asset to this project.

EVula // talk // // - Another editor whose attitude an humor have impressed me. He's taught me not to take everything so seriously. That rather than feeding the trolls, I can just advertise their stupidity for the world to read, if I so choose. His page is what first inspired me to list those editors who have affected me positively here on Wikipedia; that idea eventually led to "my most cherished".

Geometry guy - An editor who never ceases to amaze me. He was the calm in a violent storm. His guidance pulled me through and he has influenced and impressed me countless times since. His contributions to GA are invaluable and his thoughtful comments frequently brighten my day. He is one of few people that I don't mind having opposing views with because I know that no matter the issue, he will always have respect for all involved. A truly great editor, I am honored to be one of his wiki-friends.

Ling.Nut (talk) - What an amazing person. This editor has brightened many of my days. He has given me many thoughtful and funny messages that I have kept and will cherish always. This is, of course, in addition to his many impressive contributions to the encyclopedia which I am proud to say have influenced me greatly. Another editor for whom I may not always agree, but I always respect his opinion.

Phaedriel - Where to even begin... One of the few editors that I feel has truly impacted Wikipedia in a profound way. I'm not sure how she stumbled upon my account, but I am so glad she did. Her gentle heart and kind words have touched me deeply. She inspired me to create "my most cherished" and has influenced my attitude on Wikipedia. She has reminded me that kind words and kind works are like boomerangs, and I am a better person for that.

17Drew - One of the most helpful editors I have encountered. He taught me valuable lessons during my early GA reviews, but never made me feel like an idiot. I can always count on him for helpful advice and answers to questions in his various areas of expertise. His contributions to the GA and FA community are both impressive and numerous. He is one who has truly made a positive impact on the content of Wikipedia.
