[edit] Minor disputes

Briememory edited page and wrote: "(Minor reverts: 1) SEL is an appropriate abreviation for Elitserien 2) Please leave the page formatted to ProjectHockey Standards 3) Please leave the "redundant links" in the career statistics)"

1) I can't find any sources (except on Wikipedia) where SEL is an abreviation for Elitserien.
2) "2000: Bronze Medal (2000 World Junior Ice Hockey U18 Championships)" is not conforming to the Wikipedia:WikiProject Ice Hockey/Player pages format.
3) According to Wikipedia:WikiProject Ice Hockey/Player pages format there should be no links in the career statistics section.

My edits left the page more formatted according to Wikipedia:WikiProject Ice Hockey/Player pages format. --claes 23:37, 7 July 2006 (UTC)

The Internet Hockey Database abbreviates Elitserien as SEL, standing for its translation: Swedish Elite League. As you are a Scandinavian user so you would know more than I. If it is more appropriate to use just Elitserien, please change it. Also, I meant that you had abbreviated the Records and Awards sections into a Career Achievements section. I just wanted them kept separate, even if he has not set any records. I am sorry if you misunderstood. As for the redundant links, I make pages have them, just for clarification. If you think it is better to just link the teams and leagues the first time they appear, then that is fine. Briememory 02:01, 8 July 2006 (UTC)

I see I made some errors. There should be no "Career achievements" but instead an Award and Records section. I stand corrected. Regarding SEL I have used in the past but has been corrected several times by fellow Swedes stating that the abbreviation is not used anymore. I've searched but can't find any official sources where SEL is used. I've seen that some write Elit in the Career stats sections, but I think it is better to write out Elitserien to avoid any misunderstandings. Maybe it would be appropriate to have a list of all hockey leagues and their abbreviations in the Ice hockey Wikiproject? --claes 12:40, 8 July 2006 (UTC)

I actually think that would be a good idea. Many people do not know proper abbreviations and spell out leagues, taking up way too much room. Briememory 14:22, 8 July 2006 (UTC)
