[edit] Eagles
Can anyone verify that the Eagles signed/traded for Fitzgerald. No source has stated this, there have only been rumors. --71.236.76.120 (talk) 18:59, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
Can anybody verify the accuracy of this:
"He left college early and was drafted 3rd overall in the 2004 NFL entry draft, by the Arizona Cardinals."
It originally said 11th rather than 3rd.
- Wikipedia's article on the 2004 NFL draft lists him as 3rd, and http://football.about.com/cs/playerprofiles/p/larryfitzgerald.htm says he "[had] just two years of college under his belt" before the draft. 207.172.155.74 17:50, 26 October 2005 (UTC)
- They just mentioned him on ESPN2 - he was drafted 3rd. Also, he only had two years of college because he had one year of prep school. The NFL requires that you be out of high school for three years before being eligible for the draft. They counted his one year of prep as one of his three required years. Somebody needs to add about the death of his mother and struggles in school?--MP123 04:39, 21 June 2006 (UTC)
