[edit] A bit of info for the episode

I found this about why it aired during the Summer:

"This early premiere date is likely to have two positive effects for viewers. First, it will give them a chance to quickly reject the mediocre sitcom "Holding the Baby," which makes its debut at 6:30 p.m. Sunday (on WRSP Channel 55). Second, it will allow "That '70s Show," whose first two episodes hint strongly that it is the best new comedy of the season, to gather a following several weeks before the other networks unveil their new offerings. "That '70s Show" has inherited the post-"Simpsons" time slot at 7:30 p.m. Sundays.

Before delving into the content of the two new Sunday night shows, a word about Fox's Sunday-night strategy: The network in 1994 grabbed the National Football League away from CBS and ever since then has made an annual ritual of unveiling new shows that, it says, will become huge hits based on the strong "lead-in" audience from football. "

"FOX OFFERS BOTH GOOD AND BAD", State Journal-Register, The (Springfield, IL) - August 20, 1998

Hope that helps. -- Scorpion0422 22:41, 18 February 2008 (UTC)

I'll try and find some ratings info too. -- Scorpion0422 22:42, 18 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Successful good article nomination

I am glad to report that this article nomination for good article status has been promoted. This is how the article, as of March 24, 2008, compares against the six good article criteria:

1. Well written?: Appears to be, though I made one minor change myself.
2. Factually accurate?: Fully referenced throughout the article
3. Broad in coverage?: Appears to cover all aspects.
4. Neutral point of view?: No sign of POV.
5. Article stability? No sign of edit wars
6. Images?: OK. I would recommend using {{Non-free use rationale}}. I would possibly consider getting an image of better quality as this one appears to be a bit blurred.

I noticed that the image does not have fair use rationale for List of Springfield Elementary School students. You may want to add it. If you feel that this review is in error, feel free to take it to Good article reassessment. Thank you to all of the editors who worked hard to bring it to this status, and congratulations.— ISD (talk) 07:25, 24 March 2008 (UTC)
