Lars Paul Esbjörn

Lars Paul Esbjörn (October 16, 1808-1870) was a Swedish Lutheran clergyman and academic.

He was born in Delsbo, Sweden, in 1808. He was the first Swedish Lutheran minister to come to North America. He organizaed the independent Augustana Synod of the Lutheran church in Jefferson Prairie, Wisconsin in 1860. He died in 1870.
