Lars Herman Gyllenhaal

Baron Lars Herman Gyllenhaal (1790-1858), Swedish civil servant and politician.
Gyllenhaal was "president," in the Göta Court of Appeals 1836-1855, Prime Minister for Justice 1843-1844. Again chief justice in the Göta court of appeal December 28, 1844 - April 3, 1855. Speaker (lantmarskalk) in the Estate of the Nobility in the Riksdag 1850-1851. HedLLA 43 [Honorary Member of the Agriculture Academy 1843] RoKKMO 51 [Knight and Commander of His Royal Majesty's Order 1851].
He is an ancestor to director Stephen Gyllenhaal and his children, actors Jake and Maggie Gyllenhaal.
