From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Larry Rosenthal (May 21, 1910 - March 4, 1992) was a professional baseball outfielder in the 1930's and 40's. He first played with the Chicago White Sox in 1936, and hit a respectable .281 in 317 at bats. He played with the White Sox until 1941, when he was purchased by the Cleveland Indians. Rosenthal played poorly, and never had much playing time afterward, although he played briefly for the New York Yankees and Philadelphia Athletics.
