Lawrence Lee "Larry" Fortensky (born 17 January 1952) is a former Teamster who became Elizabeth Taylor's seventh husband from her eighth marriage (she married Richard Burton twice).
Fortensky was born in Stanton, California, USA. A recovering alcoholic, he and Taylor met at the Betty Ford Clinic. They were married at Michael Jackson's Neverland Ranch in October, 1991, but were divorced almost exactly five years later. Taylor is twenty years his senior.
He was subsequently jailed for assaulting his girlfriend.[1] After his divorce he was able to get money from Elizabeth by threatening to write a "tell all" book. Later, at his private home in California, he was severely injured while drunk when he fell and hit his head. He suffers from permanent brain damage.
