The Lark Buttonquail (Ortyxelos meiffrenii) is a species of bird in the Turnicidae family. It is monotypic within the genus Ortyxelos. It is found in Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Chad, Ivory Coast, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Mali, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Sudan, Tanzania, Togo, and Uganda.
