Hello! We need to tidy up this list. St Jean de Luz appears twice, and there is no consistency in whether to use Basque or French names. I suggest that as this is a bilingual region we present both names as often as possible: perhaps 2 lists (in the same order) or with each French name follwed in parentheses by its Basque name (the French name remains the official name).

Per WP policy, official name first followed by local or other name, I have re-done the template so that it is consistent, omits duplication, and is otherwise WP OK. Carlossuarez46 23:50, 14 August 2006 (UTC)

In several Occitan-speaking communes, I have put the Gascon Occitan native name.--Nil Blau (talk) 12:09, 16 February 2008 (UTC)
