Lappert's is a Hawaiian ice cream company. The company was founded by Walter Lappert who moved to Hawaii to retire but ended up opening an ice cream store; when Walter died in 2003 his son Michael took over as president. [1] They have 5 independent stores and are featured in over 50 others[citation needed]. Their headquarters are in Richmond, California. The company also created 8 original flavors[2]. In addition to ice cream they also sell gourmet coffee[citation needed].
