Lappert's is a Hawaiian ice cream company. The company was founded by Walter Lappert who moved to Hawaii to retire but ended up opening an ice cream store; when Walter died in 2003 his son Michael took over as president. ^[1] They have 5 independent stores and are featured in over 50 others^{[citation needed]}. Their headquarters are in Richmond, California. The company also created 8 original flavors^[2]. In addition to ice cream they also sell gourmet coffee^{[citation needed]}.
