The Lao Federation of Trade Unions (LFTU) is the sole national trade union center in Laos. It is directly linked to the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, the ruling political party in Laos, with the salaries of the LFTU senior officials being paid by the government.
The LFTU is affiliated with the World Federation of Trade Unions.
