Landrum Kelly, Jr., Ph.D., Political Science, Florida, 1978; NEH Post-doctoral fellow in Political Philosophy, Johns Hopkins, 1982
I am a political theorist at Livingstone College in Salisbury, NC.
Before writing on the "pacifism-just war" debate, I studied Realpolitik and "balance of power" theory with John Spanier at the University of Florida. My doctoral dissertation was on John Rawls' theory of justice, under the direction of Manning Dauer and Alfonso J. Damico, among others.

ACTIVITY ON WIKIPEDIA:
I have made some minor edits to the entry on the "just war" doctrine as well as the entry on "pacifism." The greater portions of both entries were composed by others. (Much more work needs to be done, in my opinion, but my time is limited.) I have also commented on a discussion page on "Christian pacifism," as well as the Foveon X3 sensor, the concept of "bokeh," and other minor discussion entries relating to photography.
I continue to write on other topics of interest, including the MRSA outbreaks, an area in which I have interest but no expertise. I urge qualified persons to address such vital topics, as well as to offer updates on a continuing basis where possible.
I am still a novice at editing on Wikipedia. Please contact me with advice or criticisms. Thank you.
