Hi, I'm Lando5, and I'm a pretty advanced editor here at Wikipedia. Seriously, I must edit my userpage as much as the mainspace. Never mind, I have quite a few edits there. I'm on the Welcoming Committee and Counter-Vandalism Unit.

So what do I do here?

I enjoy doing minor tasks on Wikipedia. I mostly revert vandalism and welcome new users. If you want, you can view my edit count with Kate's Tool here. By the way, if you have a question with anything involving editing Wikipedia, I'd be happy to help you if you post on my talk page.

Section edit button

At the top of each section of an article (if it has sections, that is), located on the far right of the screen, is an [edit] button. The button is offset slightly above the section, and sometimes new users get confused and think it belongs to the section above it. When you click on the edit button, the edit window opens up, displaying the source text from the section immediately below the edit button. Please use these whenever you can. You can set your preferences to have the section headers themselves to act like the [edit] links.
