Talk:Lansdowne, Edmonton
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Made a key change to the content. Lansdown overlooks the Whitemud Creek Ravine, not the North Saskatchewan River Valley. This can be easily confirmed by a visit to the map utility on the City of Edmonton web site.
Also corrected the name of the Whitemud Drive. The last time it was called the Whitemud Freeway base about 20 years ago, when the City changed the names of all the freeways from "Freeway" to "Drive".

[edit] Crimes in Lansdowne
I took a look at the crime statistics for the neighborhood profile, and while there was a sharp spike in property crims in 2004, the number of property crimes dropped in half the following year. I'll check the Edmonton Police Service website in a bit to see if there is anything more recent. (I'm having trouble loading it at the momember.)
