I Propose to merge to content of this article into the existing article of Kailua, Hawaii. Lanikai is actually within Kailua but is not a CDP but is in Kailua's boundaries. Lanikai is served by Kailua's zip code 96734. The addresses there are Kailua, HI 96734.[1]
- Neutral: with most communities, I'd say keep, since we could say that Lanikai is "its own community" not a part of a municipality, but since Hawaii has no municipalities, and since we can have articles on communities within CDPs. However, my Rand McNally road atlas doesn't display Lanikai, even on the zoomed-in map: apparently it's not a major part of the community, and therefore it should be less of a problem if it's merged.
