I AM LOOKING FOR INFORMATION ABOUT HOW &WHO WERE THE FIRST SETLERS IN LANHAM ALL I CAN REMEMBER ABOUT LANHAM WAS IT HAD A MIDGET RACE TRACK AND ONE STORE. THANK YOU FOR YOUR TROUBLE. BOB LANHAM

I am a Lanham descent from Michigan. A cousin, a Lanham from Monroe MI, did research and said that three Lanham brothers came from Ireland, after immigrating from Wales, in the late 1600's or early 1700's. Lahnam MD is named after one of these brothers and there are towns in other states named after the other two. Our Lanham's were in Kentucky and Tennessee. My grandmother, Hettie Lanham, married Joseph Perkins. Good luck with your search. Hedy V
