What is the purpose of this article? Why does the Ethnologue's method in particular deserve space apart from the Language family article? — Dan | talk 02:31, 10 June 2007 (UTC)

Seconded. --Ptcamn 21:19, 23 June 2007 (UTC)
It appears that Ethnologue is much more important and should be promoted more than I thought. I thought it was just one approach, incomplete as well as questionable, so I relagated it to its own space. By all means, promote it to the main page and give it more prominence, I have no personal opinion, I'm not an expert in this area. Alastair Haines 11:41, 24 June 2007 (UTC)
