I really don't believe that Brian Kerwin is Lance Kerwin's brother. As a result, I've removed that sentence. If anyone has evidence to the contrary, please post it here.

[submitted by No44ns864962 on 3-16-2007:] Brian Kerwin is either Lance Kerwin's brother or half-brother, I think. Unfortunately I can't cite a source for this information, but I believe it was published in one or more articles in some popular magazine (probably PEOPLE). Another brother is Shane Kerwin. His stepfather is Ernie Phillips.

I've made three changes to the list of Lance's acting credits. I omitted CHALLENGER (1990) because I've seen it from beginning to end and Lance isn't in it; I've also talked to him directly about it and he assured me that he wasn't in it even in scenes that were omitted from the final version. It has probably been mistakenly attributed to him because Brian Kerwin is in it.

The "Circus Picture" in which Lance Kerwin appeared in 1981 was undoubtedly SIDE SHOW, a credit already listed here. I don't believe there was ever a separate movie called CIRCUS PICTURE, or that this was ever even an official alternate title for SIDE SHOW, so I've omitted the credit for CIRCUS PICTURE (1981). This phantom credit, which I presume has been copied from Internet Movie Data Base, is probably the result of someone attempting to describe SIDE SHOW generically because he or she couldn't remember its exact title.

Finally, I've provided as an alternate the original title and revised the date of production for MEANEST MEN IN THE WEST. This original title (BAD MEN OF THE WEST) was used when it aired on television for the first time in 1974, but I've left MEANEST MEN... as the first title because it has been released on DVD under this title, so fans will find it faster if they look for it under that title. BAD MEN/MEANEST MEN was composed of two 1960's episodes of the television series THE VIRGINIAN. Lance appeared in new material that was added when the episodes were combined as a tv movie in 1974; thus the more correct production date for this work is 1974, which refers to the whole assembly, whereas the 1967 date is accurate for only one of the two VIRGINIAN episodes and it is quite misleading in reference to Lance's contribution and career, since his first professional acting performances did not begin to air until 1974, and even his first filmed appearance (in REFLECTIONS OF MURDER) almost certainly started shooting no earlier than 1973.

As of this writing, it appears that Lance Kerwin has not been employed by Calvary Chapel of Temecula Valley for some time.(No44ns864962 23:48, 16 March 2007 (UTC))
