[edit] Patronage

I'm surprised by the comments on low patronage at this station. In the days when I was a commuter into Paddington station, I used to walk the 1/4 mile to Lancaster Gate to get on the Central Lines relatively fast (compared to the Circle Line) service to the City; and I used to see many other people doing the same. Does this no longer happen?. -- Chris j wood 13:31, 19 Feb 2005 (UTC)

The station is indeed far quieter than any of its neighbours at all times of day and night.

I'm not sure about a lot of the comments on this page. They seem to be based on someone's personal opinion more than anything else. Although the station is certainly quieter than most central London tube stations, it is not as quiet as this article implies. The station is only about 5 minutes walk away from one of the UK's busiest railway stations, Paddington, and there are also plenty of shops and other businesses within a few minutes walk of Lancaster Gate Station. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.111.39.65 (talk) 15:22, 27 February 2008 (UTC)
