The Language Passport is a document used in Europe, which enables people to describe their language skills, using a six-step scale of skills levels based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
It is a part of the Europass package, which aims to help learners and workers demonstrate their competence in other parts of Europe. The documents are used in the same format in all EU/EEA countries. People can use Europass when looking for work or applying for education and training programmes.
