Lango of Sudan

Lango ethnic group of Sudan (distinct from Lango of Uganda) are a community of Nilotic people in Sudan. They are both agriculturists and nomadic. They live in an area in south-eastern Sudan, bordering Uganda – along the mountains of Bira, Isoke, Tseretenya, Imotong, Lomohidang, Gilo and Katire. Politically, they belong to Torit County in East Equatoria.
